Cultural Factors of Nature-Use in Lapland

1) Tausta ja tavoitteet
Dissertation deals with cultural and social aspects and sustainability of nature-use and conservation in Finnish Lapland. Individual articles study key stakeholders, – especially local people’s – attitudes and needs towards different ways to use natural resources and what is acceptable. Part of the dissertation focuses on the theory and practice of natural resource management.
