The volume of imports of fish and fish products was 7.4 million kilos and the value of imports was 32 million euros.
The volume of products imported for human consumption was 7.7 million kilos and the value was EUR 34.9 million. 0.4 million kilos were imported for non-human consumption.
In September, about four million kilos of fresh whole salmon were imported from Norway. It was just over 0.9 million kilos more than in September of the previous year. As such, almost two million kilos of imported salmon were still exported to Europe.
