Foreign trade in agri-food products, 2/2022 (preliminary)

Agricultural products and foodstuffs were imported in February 2022 for EUR 0.50 billion and exported for EUR 0.15 billion. The value of imports increased by + 27% from February of the previous year. The value of exports increased by + 12% during the same period.

• Value of exports of dairy and dairy products + 8% and value of imports + 9%.

• Value of meat exports -14% and value of imports + 22%.

• Value of fruit and berry exports -44%, value of imports -8%.

• Value of vegetable exports +208%, value of imports -1%.

• Value of exports of alcoholic beverages +42%, value of imports -8%.

• Value of feed exports +60%, value of imports +39%.
