Main research questions are related to plant nutrition and using nutrient rich sidestreams in plant production, and especially phosphorus utilization from these sources. Recently, related to food security, optimizing lime and fertilizer application in Sub-Saharan Africa (Ethiopia) in food production has gained my interest. I am conducting also research on acid sulphate soils, mainly from the environmental point of view but also their productivity and yield quality.
