LuPeOs-Developing nature-based competences

The main objective of the project is to promote bespoke training for education, social and healthcare and naturalresources staff and stakeholders as well as interaction between such training and working life. Furthermore, it will ensure that the teachers of Kajaani University of Applied Sciences and Kainuu Vocational College and actors in theeducation, natural resources, social and healthcare sectors in Kainuu have sufficient competence to advance the useof nature-based methods. The outcome of the project will be a Green Care course for social and healthcare and natural resources actors anduniversity of applied sciences and vocational college teachers. During the project, several Green Care competenceapplication pilots will be implemented in cooperation with education, working life and different sectors. The project willcreate new interdisciplinary Green Care know-how and new educational content for use among different fields ofeducation.
