Trainees are being sought in areas such as soil research, forestry methods research, horticultural research and statistics production. The tasks are related to the different stages of the research process, from data collection to analysis and documentation of the results. In traineeships, you can complete a traineeship that is part of your studies, or the traineeship can be related to the completion of a thesis. As trainees, we hire people whose studies leading to a degree are still in progress.

Seasonal jobs are centered around our unique research infrastructure, for example national forest inventories (VMI), plant cultivation work during the growing season, barns, farms, fish stock research and other research-supporting tasks in our many ongoing research projects. Seasonal employees work, for example, as a research assistant, research technician or fish farmer. As seasonal employees, we hire both people who are still in the middle of their studies and people who have already completed their degrees.
