AquaServ - Forskningsinfrastrukturtjänster för hållbart vattenbruk, fiske och den blå ekonomin.
AquaServ
AquaServ ger tillgång till en bred portfölj av kompletterande forskningsinfrastrukturer och deras tjänster (inklusive faciliteter, instrument och expertis) som behövs för att möta de vetenskapliga utmaningarna inom hållbart vattenbruk, fiske och blå ekonomi till stöd för EUs Common Fisheries Policy, Farm to Fork Strategy och Sustainable Blue Economy Strategi.
AquaServ erbjuder forskare från den akademiska världen och industrin fjärr- och på plats transnationell (TA) och virtuell (VA) tillgång till en avancerad uppsättning europeiska forskningsinfrastrukturer relaterade till forskning och förvaltning av marina och sötvattens biologiska resurser, vattenbruk, livsmedelsvetenskap och bioteknik.
AquaServ består av 39 partners samt andra stora nätverk som European Marine Biological Resource Centre ERIC (EMBRC), Analysis and Experiment on Ecosystems ERIC (AnaEE), The Aquaculture for Excellence for Aquaculture in Fish (AquaExcel) och Infrastructure for Promoting Metrology in Food and Nutrition (METROFOOD), samt International Council for Exploration of the Sea (ICES). Det inkluderar också Research Infrastructure for Science and Innovation Policy Studies(RISIS) för att föra bidrag från samhällsvetenskaperna och föra resultat närmare beslutsfattare som säkerställer samhällelig påverkan.
Från AquaServ har Luke fått finansiering för att vara värd för internationella forskare som arbetar med Lukes blå bioekonomiinfrastruktur. Finansieringen kommer att täcka kostnader för resor och logi samt kostnaderna för att använda Lukes infrastruktur. Lukes infrastrukturtjänster som ingår är relaterade till vattenbruk, biologisk mångfald, akvatisk ekologi, otolitanalys och planering av fiskodlingsplatser. Utländska forskare kan ansöka om att använda denna finansiering regelbundet (kontaktperson: antti.kause@luke.fi).
AquaServ provides access to a wide portfolio of complementary research infrastructures and their services (including facilities, instruments and expertise) needed to address the scientific challenges of sustainable aquaculture, fisheries and blue economy in support of the EU's Common Fisheries Policy, the Farm to Fork Strategy and the Sustainable Blue Economy Strategy.
AquaServ offers scientists from academia and industry remote and on-site transnational (TA) and virtual (VA) access to an advanced set of European research infrastructures related to research and management of marine and freshwater biological resources, aquaculture, food sciences and biotechnology.
AquaServ consists of 39 partners as well as other major networks such as European Marine Biological Resource Centre ERIC (EMBRC), the Analysis and Experimentation on Ecosystems ERIC, The Aquaculture for Excellence for Aquaculture in Fish (AquaExcel), and the Infrastructure for Promoting Metrology in Food and Nutrition (METROFOOD), as well as the International Council for Exploration of the Sea (ICES). It also includes the Research Infrastructure for Science and Innovation Policy Studies (RISIS) to bring contributions from the social sciences and to bring results nearer to policy makers ensuring societal impact.
From AquaServ, Luke has received funding to host international researchers working with Luke's blue bioeconomy infrastructure. The funding will cover travel and accommodation costs as well as the costs of using Luke's infrastructure. Luke's infrastructure services included are related to aquaculture (fresh water, sea water, RAS), biodiversity, aquatic ecology, otolith analysis, and spatial planning of fish farm locations. Foreign researchers can apply to utilize this funding on regular basis.
