Ensuring seed potato production is a statutory project that aims to develop seed potato production in northern Finland. The project promotes the prevention of the introduction and establishment of dangerous potato diseases in Finland operating according to the provisions and obligations stated within the rationale of the High Grade (HG) status granted to Finland by the European Union. The project maintains stakeholder cooperation between the actors in the seed potato production area and produces and disseminates information to support decision-making in the entire potato sector.
