Forest damage are expected to intensify under climate change, particularly in boreal forests. The aims of our project are: i)to improve the understanding of the effect of climate and landscape on the Pine sawfly damage of Scots pine forests, ii)estimate the snow damage risks of forests, and estimate how it contributes to the wind damage of forests, and to iii)create risk models and maps that can be later integrated to forest planning systems and shared online.
