Tools for natural regeneration in sustainable forest management

TRANSFORM -project aims to find out situations 1) in which natural regeneration is successful, 2) in which assisted natural regeneration (e.g. soil preparation and supplementary seeding or planting) is needed to establish viable seedling stand and 3) in which natural regeneration most likely fails to produce enough viable seedlings and hence artificial regeneration is needed.
