Regional Solutions to reduce climate impact of organic agricultural soils

ARMI

ARMI (Regional Solutions to reduce climate impact of organic agricultural soils) project brings together social sciences and natural sciences. Activities take place at farm, regional, and national levels.

In this project we examine climate actions of organic soils on socially and topically relevant themes: how could successful drainage lead to emission reductions on organic fields? And what are the emissions of different grass cycles on peatlands? Is the data used in agricultural greenhouse gas inventory according determination of agricultural peatlands up to date?

How could regional actors help local farmers to promote climate goals, or what might they think about their role as developers of agri-climate activities in their area? And what do farmers themselves think or expect from regional actors? And what do they have to think about climate change now?

ARMI will find it out!
