Milk and Milk Product Statistics, year 2015 and 1/2016 (provisional)

Compared to the previous year, in January 2016:

• Milk production fell by 1%
• The production volumes of liquid dairy products fell by 7%
• Butter production fell by 1%
• Cheese production fell by 3%.

Compared to the previous year, in year 2015 (provisional):

• Milk production rose just under 2%
• The production volumes of liquid dairy products fell by 4%
• Butter production rose by 12%
• Cheese production fell by 12%.
