Cereals purchased and used, Q1 2017

During the first quarter of 2017:

A total of 484 million kilos of cereals entered the market from farms, of which

• bread wheat 78 million kilos
• feed wheat 79 million kilos
• rye 14 million kilos
• malting barley 55 million kilos
• feed barley 123 million kilos
• oats 134 million kilos.

A total of 25 million kilos of rape and turnip rape entered the market from farms.

Industry in Finland used a total of 326 million kilos of cereals

• 108 million kilos were used for food
• 132 million kilos were used for feed.
