- About 2,293 million litres of milk was produced in 2020, which is 1 per cent more than previous year.
- Milk producers totalled 5,370 at the end of year. Number of farms decreased 7% during last year.
- Milk production increased almost in all ELY Centres. Most milk production increased in South Ostrobothnia, Ostrobothnia and North Ostrobothnia.
- Milk production increased by 2% in support areas AB and 1% in support area C.
- The largest milk producer municipalities were: Kuopio, Kurikka, Kiuruvesi and Kokkola.
