- About 2,325 million litres of milk was produced in 2015, which is just under 2 per cent more than previous year.
- Milk producers totalled 7,893 at the end of year. About 500 farms (-6%) gave up milk production during last year.
- The average volume of milk supplied to dairies by a farm increased to 279,400 litres.
- Milk production increased almost in all ELY Centre regions except in Satakunta and Pohjois-Karjala.
- Milk production increased by 2% in support areas AB and just over 1% in support area C.
- The largest milk producer municipalities were Kuopio, Kokkola and Kiuruvesi.
