Pork production was 169 million kilos in 2018, which was seven per cent less than during the previous year. Production decreased in all other ELY Centre regions except in Uusimaa and Satakunta.
The largest pork-producing municipalities were Huittinen, Loimaa and Seinäjoki.
Beef production increased by one per cent to 87 million kilos in 2018. Production decreased in many ELY Centre regions.
The most beef was produced in Kiuruvesi (3.2 million kg), Kuopio (3.2 million kg) and Kurikka (2.3 million kg).
Mutton production rose by 13 per cent to 1.52 million kilograms.
The most of mutton was produced in Salo, Jomala and Somero.
