Meat production 1/2023 (provisional)

Meat production in January was two per cent higher than in the same period last year. Beef and poultry meat production increased and pork and sheep meat production decreased.

In January 2023, year-on-year:

• Beef production: + 12 %
• Pork production: - 5 %
• Poultry meat production: + 6 %
• Mutton production: - 2 %
