Energywood harvesting data for January–December 2025, revised on 23 March 2026

In April, 4.0 million cubic meters of roundwood was harvested for industrial use. The volume of removals was the same as in April of the previous year and 6% lower than the five-year average. From January to April, a total of 23.6 million cubic meters of industrial roundwood was harvested. This was 7% more than a year earlier
Industrial wood
- The removals of sawlogs was 1.5 million cubic metres and pulpwood removals 2.5 million cubic metres.
- Industrial roundwood removals from non-industrial private forests totaled 2.9 million cubic meters and a decrease of 6% compared to the previous year.
- Industrial roundwood removals from forest industry companies’ forests and state-owned forests was 1.1 million cubic metres, up by 18% from the previous year.
Energywood
- Energywood removals was 0.4 million cubic metres. Of this amount 79% were delimbed stems and whole-trees. In January–April, a total of 2.6 million cubic metres of energy wood was harvested
