Utilised Agricultural Area 2025
The structure of crop production diversified in 2025, even though the total cultivated area declined slightly (−0.4%). The area under cereal crops decreased, and the internal composition shifted from oats toward autumn-sown wheat and rye. At the same time, the cultivation of oilseeds and specialty crops increased. The area under grassland remained nearly unchanged, but the structure of fallow land changed: the area of conventional fallow (green-, stubble- and open fallow) decreased, while the areas of nature management fields and green manure grassland increased.
