- About 2,262 million litres of milk was produced in 2019, which is 1 per cent less than previous year.
- Milk producers totalled 5,780 at the end of year. Number of farms decreased 7% during last year.
- Milk production decreased almost in all ELY Centres. Milk production increased in South Ostrobothnia, Ostrobothnia and Kainuu.
- Milk production decreased by 3% in support areas AB and slightly in support area C.
- The largest milk producer municipalities were: Kuopio, Kiuruvesi, Kurikka and Kokkola.
