Milk Production 2022

• Milk production decreased to 2,193 million liters in 2022. Dairies received 2 151 million liters of milk
• In December 2022, milk producers numbered 4,572  (-8% less than in 2021).
• Organic milk production was 81 million liters and there were 125 organic milk producers.

Production volumes of dairy products

Compared to the previous year, in year 2022:

• The production volumes of liquid dairy products fell by 5%
  • Milk -6%
  • Buttermilk -7%
  • Cream + 3 %
  • Curd milk – 4%
  • Yoghurt 0%
• Butter production fell by 4%
• Cheese production fell by 1%.
