Milk production in January was just over 183 million liters, which is 2% less than at the same time last year.

Production volumes of liquid dairy products, butter and cheese fell.

Compared to previous year, in January 2023:

• Milk production:  - 2%
• Production of liquid dairy products: - 2%
• Butter production:  - 4%
• Cheese production:   0%
