Meat production, year 2021

Last year meat production amounted to approximately 411 million kilograms, slightly more than in 2020.
Beef production decreased by one per cent to 86 million kilograms.
Nearly an equal volume of pork was produced, 176 million kilograms.
The production of poultry meat continued to increase last year and was about 147 million kilograms. Production increased by one per cent from the previous year.
Mutton production decreased by eight per cent to 1.3 million kilograms.
Organic meat production amounted to 4.6 million kilograms, 3 per cent more than in 2020.
