Last year meat production amounted to approximately 410 million kilograms, two per cent more than in 2019. Production of poultry meat and pork increased, and production of beef and mutton decreased from previous year.
Beef production decreased by one per cent to 87 million kilograms.
Pork production amounted to 176 million kilograms, three per cent more than in 2019.
The production of poultry meat continued to increase last year and was about 145 million kilograms. Production increased by four per cent from the previous year.
Mutton production decreased by three per cent to 1,4 million kilograms.
Organic meat production amounted to 4.4 million kilograms, 17 per cent more than in 2019.
