  • Beef production rose to about 87 million kilos in 2016. Production increased slightly in many  ELY Centre regions.
  • The most beef was produced in Kiuruvesi (3.4 million kg), Kuopio (2.3 million kg) and Kurikka (2.0 million kg).
  • Pork production was 190 million kilos in 2016. The largest pork-producing municipalities were Loimaa, Huittinen and Ilmajoki.
