Meat production 4/2022 (provisional)

This statistic publication was updated on June 8th. The publication was originally published on 31 May and stated that cattle slaughterings from April will be published later in June due to a revision of the cattle register. The update now includes new figures in the database table “Meat production monthly (slaughterings in slaughterhouses)”.

In April 2022, year-on-year:

• Beef production: - 13 %
• Pork production: - 6 %
• Poultry meat production: + 3 %
• Mutton production: + 40 %

In January-March 2022, year-on-year:

• Beef production: - 2 %
• Pork production: - 2 %
• Poultry meat production: + 3 %
• Mutton production: - 5 %
