Agricultural Census 2020: Energy consumption of agriculture and horticulture 2020 (provisional)

Agricultural and horticultural production consumed a total of 10,723 GWh of energy in 2020
The most significant individual energy sources were motor fuel oil (3,199 GWh) forest chips (3,069 GWh), and electricity (1 883 GWh)
Share on renewable energy in heat generation (wood and field biomass) was almost 60%
Agriculture and horticulture consumed 3 percent of Finland's total energy consumption.
