The statistic contains information on energy consumption in agriculture and horticulture by energy source, by volume and by energy content.

Categories

Data are available for the whole of Finland and also regionally by Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centres). Data are also classified by farm production sector.

Data collection and sources

Data on agriculture and horticulture energy consumption are compiled from the statistical questionnaire included in the Farm Structure Survey.

Update frequency

The statistic is updated every 3 or 4 years when the Farm Structure Survey is conducted.

Preparation and publication schedule

The statistics are completed by the end of the year following the survey year.

Time series

Agriculture and horticulture energy consumption data have been compiled in Finland in 2010 and 2013. Data will next be collected in 2016.
