Egg Production Statistics, Q4 and year 2018

- 75 million kilos of eggs were produced last year, which is 2% more than in previous year.
- The volumes of eggs produced in enriched cages declined (-1%). The volume in barn- and free range hen houses increased (+4%) and volume of organic egg (+20%).
- 58% of eggs were produced in enriched cages, 33% in barn range hen houses, 2% free range hen houses and 7% came from organic poultry farms.
