Egg Production Statistics, Q2 2020

- About 38 million kilos of eggs were produced during January-June, which is 1% less than during corresponding period of 2019.
- The volumes of eggs produced in enriched cages declined (-8%). The volumes increased in barn range hen houses (+5%), free range hen houses (+17%) and organic hen houses (+1% )
- 55% of eggs were produced in enriched cages, 35% barn range, 3% free range and 7% in organic hen houses.
