Egg Production Statistics, Q3 2020

- 56.6 million kilos of eggs were produced during January-September, which is 1% less than during corresponding period of 2019.
- The volumes of eggs produced in enriched cages declined (-8%). The volumes increased in barn range hen houses (+7%), free range hen houses (+34%) and organic hen houses (+1%)
- 54% of eggs were produced in enriched cages, 35% barn range, 3% free range and 8% in organic hen houses.
