Statistics on the purchase, use and storage of cereals and protein and oilseeds, Q1 2024

In the first quarter of 2024, around 408 million kilos of cereals were shifted from farms to the market, of which around 13 million kilos were organic. In the first quarter, the domestic food industry used 122 million kilos of cereals and the feed industry 133 million kilos.

• 60 million kilos of feed wheat
• 7 million kg of rye
• 88 million kilos of feed barley
• 24 million kilos of malting barley
• 99 million kilograms of feed oats
• 64 million kilograms of feed oats
• 8 million kilograms rapeseed and colza 
• 9 million kilograms peas
• 1,3 million kilograms of broad beans
