During the harvest year 2021-22
- A total of 1.4 billion kilograms of foreign and domestic grain was used in the industry. In addition to cereals, the industry used about 17 million kilograms of peas, 7.3 million kilograms of broad beans, 53 million kilograms of corn, 2.5 million kilograms of sunflowers and 84 million kilograms of soybeans.
- Industry and grain brokers bought a total of just under 1.6 million kilograms of grain from farms, of which 456 million kilograms were wheat, 475 million kilograms of barley, 574 million kilograms of oats and 78 million kilograms of rye. In addition, the industry bought around 35 million kilos of canola and canola, a good 16 million kilos of peas and around 3 million kilos of broad beans.
At the end of June 2022, the warehouses of industry and trade had a total of about 353 million kilograms of grain, of which 117 million kilograms were wheat, 49.5 million kilograms of rye, 90.3 million kilograms of barley and 96 million kilograms of oats. There were just under 15 million kilos of canola, 3.3 million kilos of peas and 31 million kilos of corn.
