Producer prices for fish species with catch quotas, 2nd quarter 2020

Producer price of fish species covered by fishing quotas in April–June 2020

  • The total price of Baltic Herring declined to EUR 0,21 per kilo, which was slightly below the price in the first quarter (EUR 0,22 per kilo).
  • The price of Baltic Herring intended for human consumption declined to EUR 0.26 per kilo, which was approximately the same as for the second quarter of 2019 (EUR 0.24 per kilo).
  • The price of Baltic Herring intended for industrial use remained the same as in the first quarter of 2020, being 0.18 EUR per kilo.
  • The price of sprat was EUR 0.19 per kilo, which was the same as in the first quarter of 2020.
  • The price of gutted salmon was EUR 6.21 per kilo, which was slightly higher than the average annual price (EUR 6.07 per kilo) during 2019.
