- At the beginning of April there were about 3,9 million laying hens. In total, there were 4.4 million places for hens on just under 260 farms.
- There were 13.3 million broiler places on around 180 farms. Most broilers are reared in South Ostrobothnia and Satakunta.
- Turkeys were reared on 32 farms, with around 364,000 places. The majority of farms are located in South Ostrobothnia, Varsinais-Suomi and Satakunta.
