Milk production in January-June was almost the same as in the same period a year ago.  In June, production was just under 176 million liters. 

The production of liquid dairy products and cheese decreased, while butter production increased.

Compared to the previous year in January-June 2024:

  • Milk production: 0% 
  • Production of fresh products: 
    • Drinking milk -2%
    • Buttermilk -3%
    • Cream -6%
    • Sour cream products - 6%
    • Curd milk -3%
    • Yoghurts -3%
    • Other fresh products +2 %
  • Butter production: +1%
  • Cheese production: -5%

Compared to the same time last year in June 2024:

  • Cheese stocks: -8%
  • Butter stocks: -14%
