Milk and Milk Product Statistics, 10/2022 (provisional)

Milk production in January-October was three per cent lower than a year ago. In October, production fell by 3% to 171 million liters. There were 4 643 milk producers.

Production volumes of liquid dairy products, butter and cheese fell in October.

Compared to previous year, in January-October 2022:

• Milk production:  - 2%
• Production of liquid dairy products: - 4%
• Butter production:  - 4%
• Cheese production:   - 1%
