Meat production 9/2022 (provisional)

Meat production in January-September was almost the same as in the same period last year. Poultry meat production increased, and beef, pork and sheep meat production decreased.

In September 2022, year-on-year:

• Beef production: - 10 %
• Pork production: - 4 %
• Poultry meat production: - 1 %
• Mutton production: - 15 %

In January-September 2022, year-on-year:

• Beef production: - 2 %
• Pork production: - 1 %
• Poultry meat production: + 1 %
• Mutton production: - 8 %

Slaughter numbers for suckler cows in 2022 are not comparable with previous years.
