Meat production 11/2022 (provisional)

Meat production decreased by 1% in January-November compared to the same period last year.  Poultry meat production increased, and beef, pork and sheep meat production decreased.

In November 2022, year-on-year:

• Beef production: 0 %
• Pork production: - 10 %
• Poultry meat production: - 3 %
• Mutton production: + 3 %

In January-November 2022, year-on-year:

• Beef production: - 1 %
• Pork production: - 2 %
• Poultry meat production: + 1 %
• Mutton production: - 6 %

Slaughter numbers for suckler cows in 2022 are not comparable with previous years.
