19 million kilos of eggs were produced during January-March, which is 1% more than corresponding period of 2020.
The volumes of eggs produced in enriched cages declined (-9%) and in free range hen houses (-12%). in organic hen houses. The volumes increased in barn range hen houses (+18%) and in organic hen houses (+6%).
50% of eggs were produced in enriched cages, 40% barn range hen houses, 2% free range hen houses and 8% in organic hen houses.
