At the beginning of the crop year 2011–2012, on-farm stocks had a total of approximately 570 million kilos of grain.
During the crop year, farms sold a total of approximately 2.3 billion kilos of grain.
Use of barley to feed livestock on farms increased, while the use of wheat and oats decreased. During the year, a total of approximately 1,600 million kilos of grain was used as feed on farms.
At the end of the crop year, farms stored a total of 776 million kilos of grain. Stocks of barley decreased, while wheat and oat stocks increased.
