Producer prices for fish species with catch quotas, 3rd quarter 2021

The total price of Baltic herring (EUR 0.24 per kilo) increased compared to the second quarter of 2021 (EUR 0.21 per kilo).
The price of Baltic herring intended for human consumption was EUR 0.64 per kilo. The catches of Baltic herring intended for human consumption in the third quarter of the year are small compared to other quarters.
The price of Baltic herring intended for industrial use remained at EUR 0.19 per kilo, which was the same as in the second quarter of 2021.
The total price of gutted salmon was EUR 6.15 per kilo. The price of salmon varied significantly between regions.
