Producer prices for fish 2021

The producer price of Baltic herring intended for human consumption (EUR 0.34 per kg) and that of industrial Baltic herring (EUR 0.19 per kg) increased slightly from the previous year. In 2020, the corresponding figures were EUR 0.32 per kg and EUR 0.18 per kg respectively.
The producer price of sprat (EUR 0.19 per kg) remained at the 2020 level.
The producer price of gutted salmon (EUR 6.43 per kg) increased from 2020 (EUR 6.13 per kg).
The producer prices of perch (EUR 2.39 per kg) and pikeperch (EUR 6.12 per kg) increased from the previous year. In 2020, the corresponding figures were EUR 2.36 per kg and EUR 5.93 per kg respectively.
The producer prices of pike (EUR 1.95 per kg) and burbot (EUR 5.10 per kg) decreased.
The producer price of farmed rainbow trout (EUR 5.20 per kg) increased significantly from 2020 (EUR 4.35 per kg). Instead, the producer price of farmed European whitefish (EUR 10.21 per kg) decreased.
