Number of livestock in spring of 2010

- The number of poultry, sheep, and horses on the farm grew from last year. The number of pigs dropped slightly.
- The poultry included altogether 9.59 million animals on 1,300 farms. There were 3.39 million chickens and 4.62 million broilers.
- The number of pigs went slightly down from the previous year to about 1.37 million pigs. The number of pig farms fell by 200 hundred, i.e. by 8% during a year.
- There were about 125.700 sheep on 1,350 farms.
