Milk production was highest in the regions of North Ostrobothnia, North Savo, South Ostrobothnia and Central Ostrobothnia.
- Dairies received just under 2 132 million litres of milk, which was 1% less than in 2022.
- There were just over 4 500 milk producers, 8% fewer than in the previous year.
- The regions of North Ostrobothnia (369 million litres), North Savo (303 million litres), South Ostrobothnia (278 million litres) and Central Ostrobothnia (155 million litres) produced the most milk. These regions accounted for more than 50% of milk production.
- As in the previous year, Kuopio (68 million litres) produced the most milk. The next largest producers were Kurikka (62 million litres), Kiuruvede (53 million litres) and Kokkola (49 million litres).
