Meat production 6/2024 (provisional)

In January-June, two per cent more meat was produced than in the same period last year. Pork and poultry meat production increased. Beef was produced almost the same quantity.

In June, the production of all other types of meat fell except poultry.

In June 2024, year-on-year:

• Beef production: - 14%
• Pork production: - 8%
• Poultry meat production: +1%
• Mutton production: - 22%

In January-June 2024, year-on-year:

• Pork production: +2%
• Poultry meat production: +4%
• Mutton production: - 13%
