Meat production 3/2024 (provisional)

The production of beef and pork in January-March was almost the same as in the same period last year. Poultry and sheep meat production fell.

Production of all types of meat fell in March, with 11% less meat produced than in March last year.

In March 2024, year-on-year:

• Beef production: - 13 %
• Pork production: - 9 %
• Poultry meat production: - 11 %
• Mutton production: - 15 %

In January-March 2024, year-on-year:

• Beef production: 0 %
• Pork production: 0 %
• Poultry meat production: - 2 %
• Mutton production: - 15 %
