Agricultural land rents 2020

On average, agricultural and horticultural enterprises paid EUR 248 per hectare for rented agricultural land. The information is based on agricultural land rental prices collected in connection with the 2020 FADN survey.
Based on information by NUTS2 regions, the rental rates were highest in Southern Finland at EUR 305 and Åland at EUR 290 per hectare. The rental prices were lowest in Northern and Eastern Finland, EUR 154 per hectare.
When compared with rental prices of 2016, in whole country on average the change is + 11 per cent. The rental prices have gone up the mot in Western Finland with 16 percent from year 2016 to 2020.
