Foreign trade in agri-food products, 8/2023 (preliminary)

In August 2023, imports of agricultural products and foodstuffs amounted to EUR 0.57 billion and exports to EUR 0.19 billion. The value of imports fell by -12% and the value of exports by -2% from August of the previous year.

• Value of imports of dairy products -11% and value of exports -25%.
• Meat imports -14% in value and exports -20% in value.
• Fruit and berries imports -6% in value and exports -20% in value.
• Value of imports of vegetables -4%, value of exports +32%.
• Value of imports of alcoholic beverages -29%, value of exports +12%.
• Value of feed imports -21%, value of exports -24%.
