Foreign trade in agri-food products, 9/2023 (preliminary)

In September 2023, imports of agricultural products and foodstuffs amounted to EUR 0.56 billion and exports to EUR 0.18 billion. The value of imports fell by -7% from September of the previous year, and the value of exports by -15%.

• Value of imports of dairy products -6% and value of exports -16%.
• Meat imports -14% in value and exports -29% in value.
• Imports of fruit and berries +5% in value and exports -38% in value.
• Value of imports of vegetables -7%, value of exports -3%.
• Value of imports of alcoholic beverages -36%, value of exports -9%.
• Imports of feedstuffs +15% in value, exports -31% in value.
